Not Medical Advice

The content on mothermieko.com is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a treatment plan. No content here creates a doctor-patient relationship.

Weight that won't move, constant hunger and late-night cravings can have medical causes, including thyroid problems, blood sugar issues, hormonal changes, sleep problems and medication side effects. A home routine is not a substitute for finding out which one applies to you.

Individual Results Vary

Any results described on this site, whether in our guides, videos or general discussion, are illustrative. They are not a promise, guarantee or prediction of what you will experience.

Baking Soda Notice

Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) is high in sodium: about 300 mg in a quarter teaspoon. Our guide uses no more than a quarter teaspoon, once a day. Do not exceed that amount, and do not give it to children.

Do not use the baking soda routine, or any baking-soda-based product, without talking to your doctor first if you follow a low-sodium diet, have high blood pressure, heart disease or kidney disease, take prescription medication, or are pregnant or nursing.

Berberine Notice

Our guide discusses berberine, and products featured on this site may contain it. Berberine can interact with prescription medications, including medication for blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure and blood clotting, and it is not recommended during pregnancy or while nursing. The most common side effect is digestive discomfort. If you take any prescription medication, speak to your physician or pharmacist before using berberine or a product that contains it.

Ginger Notice

Our guide includes a daily fresh ginger tea, and products featured on this site may contain concentrated ginger extract. Ginger may add to the effect of blood-thinning and blood sugar medication. If you take either, or have a scheduled surgery, ask your doctor before using ginger daily.

Weight-Loss Medication Notice

If you currently use a prescription GLP-1 medication or any other weight-loss or diabetes medication, talk to your prescribing doctor before adding a new supplement or changing your eating routine.
